Shakespeare

An opportunity to visit the Globe!

We’re really excited to let you know about an opportunity to visit one of the most iconic places in London (for free!) – Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

One of the members of our Youth Advisory Panel, George, has managed to secure a small number of tickets for a relaxed performance of Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Saturday 9th March at 2pm, and you can get your hands on one today!

This version of Romeo and Juliet is a ‘Playing Shakespeare production’, a shorter and more relaxed production of the play aimed at younger audiences. As it is a relaxed performance, visitors will be able to come and go as they please so it’s a really inclusive space and perfect for young people!

Going to the theatre can be a great way of taking a bit of time out for yourself and practicing self-care (which we know is super important for those struggling with mental ill health!).

These tickets have kindly been gifted to us by Shakespeare’s Globe. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to run this as an OCD Youth event due to staffing restrictions, but if you would like to go along, please let us know via the form below and we can put your name down for a complimentary ticket and we can send you the details for the day! Parents, guardians and friends are also more than welcome to put their name down for a ticket. Tickets are limited so will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
