Free CPD webinars for teachers

Enhance your knowledge of OCD and supporting learners with OCD in the classroom.

What people said about it last time:

'The session was just like a conversation that developed. It was 'real' and fascinating.'

'I found both sessions incredibly interesting & useful, particularly as I had very little prior knowledge of OCD and many misconceptions! I am going to be working with a student next term with a diagnosis of OCD and would really like to use some of this information with him! I also found it fascinating and thought provoking to have a young person’s perspective on the matter.'

'The sessions were very helpful in dealing with lots of different areas of OCD, and very good at encouraging us to participate and speak to each other.'

The ‘OCD at School’ CPD webinar programme will take the form of a two-part course, during which we will hear from a variety of speakers including SEN specialists and those affected by OCD.

Part one will consist of an introduction to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and will provide an overview of some useful strategies for supporting learners with OCD.  Part two will look more closely at the specific ways in which OCD can manifest and the effects of this on learners in the classroom context. Each session will also include opportunities for questions to be posed to our speakers.
