Parents’ seminar with Dr Isobel Heyman
An opportunity to ask Dr Heyman questions, and talk to other parents of children with OCD
Replacing OCD Action’s monthly online seminar for parents this month, will be a one-off face-to-face seminar for parents at the OCD Action National Conference on the 24th of November. Dr Isobel Heyman will be leading this and answering all your burning questions!
Dr Heyman is a leading expert on child and adolescent OCD. In 1998 Dr Heyman founded the first UK specialist clinic for young people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and related difficulties, and became a clinical lead and liaison psychiatrist at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She is on the Council of the British Paediatric Neurology Association and has over 60 peer-reviewed publications, as well as book chapters and reviews.
The conference will also be hosting a session especially for young people with OCD. This will take place from 1:45 – 3:15 at the same time as the parents’ seminar.
