Join our youth event in Norwich!

The OCD Youth team are happy to announce our second social event of the year, in Norwich on Saturday 24th August.

We are excited to invite young people under 25 with OCD, BDD or a related disorder (or those worried that they may have OCD) to join us at Missing Kind for an arts and crafts workshop, where we will be creating stamps, prints and tote bags for you to take home.

We will be meeting at Missing Kind at 12pm, which is a short, ten-minute walk from Norwich train station. If you’d like a member of the OCD Youth team to meet you from the station, please do feel free to get in touch, and we would be happy to meet you there. Otherwise, you can find Missing Kind at 21 Castle Meadow, NR1 3DH.

After the workshop, at around 3pm, we will be heading over to Riverside Entertainment Centre for a late lunch at Coast to Coast. While menus may vary from restaurant to restaurant, you are welcome to take a look at a provisional menu by visiting www.c2crestaurants.com. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know on the registration form below.

Afterwards, we will be playing two games of bowling at Riverside Hollywood Bowl. If you’d prefer not to take part in bowling, to leave after lunch or simply to watch instead, please feel free to do whatever works best for you and whatever would make you feel most comfortable.

Members of the Youth Advisory Panel will be attending the event, as well as OCD Action staff, so there will be plenty of help on hand if needed for support or encouragement. This is an exciting and invaluable opportunity to meet other young people with first-hand experience of living with OCD; we are excited to see you all there!

If you are under the age of sixteen, you will need to bring a parent or guardian along with you. If you are between the ages of sixteen and eighteen, you are welcome to come by yourself, provided OCD Youth have consent from a parent or guardian. To provide consent for your child, please email us at youth@ocdaction.org.uk.

Please note that this event is free of charge, however spaces are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. To register your interest, please fill out the sign up sheet below and email it to youth@ocdaction.org.uk or post it to:
