“Fake world” something I would never even let myself think in my head 3-4 years ago. In 6th grade, and 7th grade. OCD was convinced that if I turned to my left or did ANYTHING to my left I would enter and “fake world” everything is the same but everyone and thing is fake, a replica of the real world. This was a huge fear, I was scared of getting manipulated and used. MAJOR trust issues. So to cope with that I never. Went. To. The. Right. You should try it for like 5 minutes it’s EXHAUSTING. I did this for 2 years. The most restricting form of ocd I’ve ever had. If I needed to do something to the left I’d spin to my right, face the other direction and shuffle to my right to get to my original left. My hand was always tight to my right as possible my eyes would make circles avoided eye contact with anything on the left of me. My head wasn’t allowed to shift even a little bit to the left or I’d do a spin to the right to indo that. It was a horror. Showering was so bad because my parents weren’t there to see me spinning or doing rituals to stop me. I can’t even begin to tell you how dizzy I would get. I was flunking school because I would write anything to the left, I wouldn’t bubble answers on the left, I would get up in the middle of class to get a tissue in order to spin once to the right to undo anything i May have shifted to the left or anything at all. It was insane. But here I am 3-4 years later able to talk and type about all this, laying on my left side. And not triggered. God is good. Granted I have other themes of ocd now but I Praise God that the fake world theme is over.
