hi , yesterday , a few days after i actually realised that what i was suffering from is pure o . i suddenly had a very intense thought and image about me doing something sexual with my mother . mentally i screamed no ! shook my head and tried to clear it , but then a voice inside my head said ‘ think of the pleasure ‘ .( ugghhhh , i know u’re retching right now just at the thought of this )now im afraid i felt desire for my own mom . i disgust myself , i hate myself . i am literally hitting myself with my ipad right now . please help me
i am sorry if the message is to vague but its all ican manage .i dont feel like i will ever smile or be happy again

i am pretty angry at myself for what happened and the more i think about it the more it seems that i could have stopped it and sometimes it feels like i wanted those thoughts

Listen: its totally ok. This is classic ocd.

OCD can make you believe anything!! You just need to accept uncertainty, and let these thoughts happen, it can be incredibly difficult but it’s the only way to weaken OCD.

i think i get what you mean. like if your mind told you to act and think like they were enjoying the thoughts. to act like someone that would enjoy them. i think im going through the same thing with pocd. ocd can really make you believe anything, it's so scary what it can do. i hope you're doing better now, and i hope you can find help
