Hello,
It’s been over 2 years since OCD was brought up to be something I could have in a therapist meeting. I’m a 13 year old who suffers from OCD (Pure O). I’ve hit my lowest point in a real long time. My TOCD makes me believe I am something I am not, I’ve become so used to these thoughts that I sometimes dont even know what I am thinking anymore or dont react to it. I’ve become numb, I can no longer shed tears and no longer feel like there is hope. My parents dont believe I have OCD since they have a stigma about it, they always say “Oh, well your room is always a mess so you cant have OCD!”. It sucks on how your only way of real support dont even believe you. I’m so sick of my mind telling me I have an illness, or am something I am not. It makes me so tired and makes me feel like I am a stranger to my own body. I look back to even when I was a young kid, that I was showing obsessive behaviors. I just really want help and especially OCD mixed with Puberty is not that good of a mix, I just want help, thats all.

Hello person!
I completely get where you're coming from. Looking back, if I could redo my journey with OCD, it would be to get help ASAP. The longer you go without help, the worst it gets. The first thing I would do would be to get a proper diagnosis from a psychologist or therapist be sure that you have OCD for certain. (you might have already done this, idk) In the meantime while you're still trying to find help, research ERP and ACT therapy for OCD. Try to follow the steps it gives you online for each of them, and see which works the best for you to deal with the thoughts. Keep fighting, you got this!
