I’m sorry for this, I just need to get this off my chest. Everytime I see someone I love I think of something I think that I did wrong to them, or a “wrong” thought/feeling I had about them. I’m afraid all my relationships are gonna be ruined because everyone I love is just going to trigger me. Also there’s places that will trigger me too if I remember having a thought/feeling that I felt was “wrong”. I’m constantly being reminded of everything I’ve done wrong, and everything that I have thought that was wrong. I don’t know what to do about this.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. OCD is a very difficult thing to deal with, especially when our family can trigger our thoughts. When these thoughts come, remember that you aren’t a bad person. You are good. You’re so worried about doing something wrong that you fixate on all the ‘wrong’ things you did in the past. When you are reminded of something you think you did that was bad, just let the thought sit in your mind, try your best not to acknowledge it, and continue doing what you’re doing. Even if you can only manage this for a few seconds, that’s okay. But do it every time, as you will find that you can gradually extend the time you don’t acknowledge the thoughts and that they become less frequent. I’m here for you! You can do this!
