So ive been suffering from hocd for a month now, or at least i think ita hocd but now ive got a new fear. Im wondering if the gay thought that started my hocd was really just me discovering that im gay. So my question is that is this just me realizing ive been gay for 14 years, or is it just hocd? What i dont get is that at 14 years old, I was sure that I was straight, and never had gay thoughts or feelings, but now im questioning that I was ever sure i was straight. Is 14 old enough to be sure of your sexuality? What if im just gay and didnt realize it?

I'm sorry to hear you've been suffering from suspected OCD. No one on the internet can tell you whether you have OCD or tell you what your sexuality is. Lots of 14 year olds know their sexuality but not all of them.
If you do have OCD, it's important to get treatment from a mental health professional. The recommended treatment is called Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and it has a good success rate. CBT involves identifying and resisting your compulsions, letting the anxiety pass on its own instead. Compulsions are things like asking for reassurance, 'testing' for a physical reaction to people of a particular gender, making lists of reasons for/against you being gay, doing online tests of your sexuality, and anything else that involves you trying to determine your sexuality when you should be doing something else. Does that make sense?
You can access CBT for free on the NHS by visiting your general doctor and asking for a referral. Does that sound like something you can do?
